BLU & GRN

This is our youth ministry!  BLU is for high school students & is an acronym for "Building Lives Up."  GRN is for middle school students & is an acronym for "Growing, Reaching, Naturally."  BLU & GRN meet weekly on Sunday nights here at the LifeHouse facility from 6:30 to 8:00.

Children's Ministry

Children's Church is for kids age 5 through 3rd grade & is provided for the entirety of both 9 & 11am worship services. 

LifeHouse Kids is a ministry designed specifically for 4th & 5th grade students.  LifeHouse Kids meets from 10 to 11 each Sunday morning.

 

LifeGroups

LifeSkills Course

Start Date: January 8th

Time: 10:15am (each class will last 75 - 90 minutes)

Location: LifeHouse Church 

Duration: 17 Sessions (through the end of April)

Course Outline

  • Confronting Anger (4 weeks) - Emphasis on Arrested Development, Origins & Control of Anger
  • The New You (4 weeks) - Basically a spiritual growth period with emphasis on defeating Satan
  • Shame vs. Guilt (9 weeks) - Understanding a shame-based society & life, including how shame affects our relationships & how we can move to freedom in Christ

Band of Brothers (BOB) - A men's group that meets weekly on two occasions: Sunday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 here in Abilene at 1214 NW 3rd (aka, the CooperClean building)...and also on Monday evenings at the home of John Vecchio - 1718 NW 4th.  Contact Michael Scott for more details on the Monday group!


Girlfriends in God (GIG) - A women's group that meets on Tuesday night at 6:30.  This group meets weekly here at the LifeHouse building in our coffee bar (Gathering Grounds). 

 

Run for God 5K Group - This is a 12-week course that is open to the entire community, and there are two opportunities for you.

Start Dates: Tuesday, October 25th & Wednesday, October 26th

Times: Tuesday Group: 5:15am-6:30am -- Wednesday Group: 6:30pm-7:45pm

Frequency: Weekly for 12 sessions (we'll make adjustments for the holidays)

Location: LifeHouse Facility

Nursery

We staff both a Stage 1 and Stage 2 Nursery for the entirety of both morning worship services.  Stage 1 is for infants & Stage 2 is for toddlers up to age 4.
